We recently got installed pictures of one of our favorite designs back from a customer. It was a custom size of our Contemporary Fiberglass Pergola with Fixed Louvers. It turned out great! Our customer is a designer. She incorporated the pergola into an outdoor kitchen. She even installed custom lights!

Before we created drawings, we arrived at the dimensions needed for the pergola. She wanted a size of 16 x 12. The standard space between the louvered rafters is one inch, and the customer decided that should provide just the right amount of shade. Note the detail on the shop drawings as well as the renderings.

The customer was concerned about the coloring of the pergola. Would it be glossy looking or matte? Our engineered coating is matte (satin), and this was just what she was looking for. She decided on a Benjamin Moore color: Black Berry.

She signed off on the drawings above. One month later, we shipped her custom pergola!

We love it when customers make our pergolas their own, and this is a new favorite.

When new concrete is needed, we usually recommend mounting the pergola on top of concrete once it has dried. However, Outdoor Living Today offers brackets with their pergolas that allow you to put the brackets in the wet cement.
